BTEUP Admit Card 2018 – Board of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh has released BTEUP Semester Exam Admit Card for Odd Semester Examination. BTEUP Polytechnic Admit Card 2018-19 can be downloaded through the link provided on this page. To download the BTEUP Admit Card candidates have to log in through the “Student Login” to access the admit card. Candidates enrollment number and date of birth is required to login. After accessing the Admit Card candidates have to take the print out of the same. BTEUP Admit Card 2018 is required for appearing in the exam centre. No candidates shall be entertained in the exam centre without BTEUP Polytechnic Admit Card. BTE is conducting the exam from December 08, 2018.

Importance of BTEUP Admit Card 2018

BTEUP Polytechnic Odd Semester Exam Admit Card 2018 is a very important document for appearing in the exam. It is the only proof that the candidates are eligible for appearing in the exam. BTEUP Admit Card holds the information of the candidate and the exam being conducted. The exam centre details can be checked from the BTEUP Admit Card. Without the exam centre details, a candidate won’t be able to navigate to the exam centre.

The admit card is required on each day of the exam.No candidates shall be allowed inside the exam hall without BTEUP Semester Exam Admit Card. The examiner in the exam hall will verify the admit card of the candidate and after the verification, he will allow the candidate to write the exam.

Important Instruction

Candidates appearing for the Odd Semester Examination must follow these instructions on the day of the examination. Check the instructions below.

  • Candidates have to report to the exam centre 30 minutes before the start of the exam
  • Admission will not be given 20 minutes before and 20 minutes after the start of the exam
  • Carry the Admit Card and valid proof on the day of the exam
  • Get the signature and Seal of the principal on BTEUP Polytechnic Admit Card
  • Do not carry any electronic gadget and a programmable calculator inside the exam hall
  • Avoid malpractice during the exam
  • Carry only BTEUP Admit Card inside the exam hall


State Board of Technical Education and Training was established in May 1958. In the year 1962, the board name was changed to Board of Technical Education. The first exam conducted by the board was in the year 1960. The exam was conducted for courses of diploma level and also for Draughtsman Certificate Courses. In 1962 the board had conducted the exam of 2500 students, in three major disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering. The exam was conducted at 25 different centres/institutions.
