Formerly known as The School of Correspondence Courses and Continuing Education, DU SOL came into existence in the year 1962. SOL is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. The School of Open Learning, University of Delhi started with only 900 students in its 1st year of running. Currently, DU SOL has a strength of nearly 5 lakh students.
