Dates of Registration – 18-21 July 2011
Commencement of Class Work – 21 July 2011

  • All the students are to assemble at Institute Auditorium.
  • Submit the allotment order copy. Students will be called as per the order of submission.
  • Collect bio-data form, internal sliding form, and bank account opening form, fill them and keep them ready.
  • Keep a single Demand Draft in favor of Director, NIT Warangal towards balance fee to be paid. Write your name AIEEE registration number, AIEEE rank and the roll number which will be allotted after verification on the reverse side of the DD.

  • As per serial order, students will be invited for certificate verification.
    Original certificates with four sets of Photostat copies of the following are to be submitted :
  1. Allotment Order
  2. Secondary School Certificate
  3. Inter or X+2 Certificate
  4. Transfer Certificate
  5. Migration Certificate
  6. Study and Conduct Certificate
  7. Caste Certificate in respect of SC / ST / OBC
  8. PH certificate, if applicable
  9. Medical Certificate
  10. TWO recent passport size photographs
  11. SAT Score (in case of DASA candidates only)
  12. Passport and Visa (in case of all foreign nationals only)
  • After verification of certificates, collect papers, check for allotment of roll number. Proceed, in batches, to CSE department Seminar Hall for blood grouping.
  • Proceed to the registration center in the first floor of CSE department. Please note that only students are allowed to go to the registration room. Parents and others are requested to wait in the auditorium or other places of convenience.
  • At the registration room, students are to go through the following counters, in order
  1. CCB Counter
  2. Data entry
  3. DD collection
  4. Photo scanning
  5. Bio-data entry
  6. Hostel Room allotment
  7. Collection of Enrolment Slip
  8. Bank Counter – Submission of account opening form along with introducer’s signature. All the students are requested to fill in the details of introducer as announced.
  9. Collection identity card
  • Proceed to Hostels for occupation of Room allotted

PG Courses

M.Sc, M.Sc Tech and M.B.A students :

Note : M.Sc, M.Sc Tech and M.B.A students are to collect bank opening form and can go to the CSE seminar hall for blood grouping along with the DD as specified below and then proceed for registration.

Registration Process for Senior Students

Registration dates :

  • For promoted (Cleared 30 or more credits in the current year and not having ‘I’ or ‘F’ Grades in previous year) students – 14, 15 July
  • For promoted students after makeup exam results – 18, 19, 20 July

Late fee Rs 500 for registration up to 22.07.11 after last date without late fee

NOTE : Students, who are on intern up to 15.07.2011 or after but before 22.07.2011, with permission from Dean, Academic Affairs are exempted from payment of late fee.
Late fee, if any, is to be paid only through challan at SBH, NIT branch.

Start of Class Work: 18th July 2011.

DASA STUDENTS AND OTHER NON-INDIAN STUDENTS :

  • Deposit DDs for tuition fee at Accounts Section counters and obtain a receipt
  • If not registered for transfer of other Rupee component of fees, pay the fee through DD or Challan at the accounts section and obtain receipt.
  • Get hostel no dues from chief warden.
  • Proceed to the departments for registration

STUDENTS AVAILING BANK LOANS :

  • Deposit DDs for Institute fee at Accounts Section counters and obtain a receipt
  • Get hostel no dues from chief warden.
  • Proceed to the departments for registration

STUDENTS WHO HAVE PAID EXCESS TUITION FEE IN THE PAST :

  • Pay the remaining amount through challan at SBH, NIT branch
  • Present the Challan at Accounts Section and Obtain endorsement for receipt of fee
  • Get hostel no dues from chief warden
  • Proceed to the departments for registration.

STUDENTS REGISTERED FOR ACCOUNT TRANSFER :

  • Get hostel no dues from Chief Warden.
  • Proceed to the departments for registration.

ALL OTHER CATEGORY OF STUDENTS :

  • Pay the Institute fee through challan at SBH, NIT Branch
  • Get hostel no dues from chief warden.
  • Proceed to the department for registration.

MBA Program at School of Management

Eligibility :

First class Bachelor’s Degree in any branch of Engineering/Technology with a valid CAT /JMET/MAT score card.
* Candidates appearing for MAT, May 2011 may also apply. If the candidate is provisionally shortlisted, he/she has to produce the rank card during the Group discussion and PI.

NOTE : SC/ST and PC Candidates with 55% marks or with 6.0 CGPA are also eligible to apply for the programme.

Application Fee :

  1. Application fee is Rs. 700/- (Rs. 350/- for SC/ST candidates) for each application.
  2. Applications are to be submitted along with photocopies of necessary certificates and with Demand Draft for Rs. 700/- (Rs. 350/- for SC/ST candidates) towards the application fee. D.D. must be drawn in favour of Director, NIT Warangal, payable at S.B.H, NIT Warangal Branch (Code No. 20149) or any other Nationalized Bank payable at Warangal..
  3. Name and address of the candidate should be written on the reverse of the Demand Draft.

Admission Methodology :

  1. Admissions are made on ALL INDIA BASIS.
  2. Selection is made based on the basis of Group Discussion and Personal Interview conducted by the Institute for the shortlisted candidates from valid CAT/JMET/MAT score.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Candidates awaiting the results of the final semester/year may also apply. But they should submit the final marks list before the date given by the Institute in case they are selected.
  • Applications submitted in any other proforma other than the prescribed proforma kept in the Institute web site or those received after the due date or those, which are incomplete in any respect, will not be considered.
  • Candidates should send their applications by Speed Post / Registered Post super scribing “Application for MBA – 2011” on the envelope to The Admissions Officer, National Institute of Technology, Warangal – 506 004, A.P.
  • Last date for receiving filled in applications: 02-05-2011, 5.00 p.m.
  • If two or more candidates obtain the same marks, the aggregate percentage of marks they obtained at the qualifying degree examination, will be the criterion for preference. In case of further tie, elder person by age will be given preference.
  • Reservations for OBC, SC/ST and physically challenged (PC) will be as per the rules of Government of India
  • Applicant should be a citizen of India.
  • Admission of foreign nationals, if any, shall be governed by the rules stipulated by the Government of India from time to time.
  • The Institute is fully residential and all the students shall be required to reside in the institute hostels.
  • Candidates who are provisionally selected for admission will be examined by the Institute Medical Officer and those who fail to satisfy the physical fitness standard prescribed by the Institute will not be admitted.
  • Candidates name will be provisionally included in the rolls only when the selected candidate reports at the Institute for admission, submits all the required certificates, in original, found to be Medically fit and pay all the fees and deposits prescribed.

CHECK LIST :

Application forms duly filled in must be accompanied by the following documents :

  • Photocopies of Marks Memoranda / Grade Sheets of all the examinations leading to the qualifying degree.
  • Photocopy of Integrated Community Certificate in the prescribed format (Proforma), if the admission is sought against the reserved seat.
  • Photocopy of the Degree / Provisional Pass Certificate of the qualifying examination. In case, final result is awaited, provisional pass certificate should be submitted at the time of counseling or before the date given by the Institute, failing which the admission may be cancelled.
  • Photocopy of the Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.
  • Photocopy of Physically Handicapped Certificate.
  • Two self addressed envelopes (stamped Rs. 8/-) of size (9″ x 4″) are to be attached by all candidates.
  • Photocopy of the JMET/CAT/MAT rank card with valid score.

Applications without these documents shall be deemed to be incomplete and shall be rejected.
