Palamuru University was established in the year 2008 as a State University. It is located in Mahbubnagar, Telangana, India. Palamuru University Campus Colleges

- University Post Graduate College – This college was established in the year 1987-88 under Osmania University by the name OU Post Graduate Centre, Mahabubnagar, with the introduction of two Post-Graduate Programmes viz. M.A. in Political Science and M.Com. The University has added two more programs: MBA in the year 1997-98 and MCA in the year 1998-99. Subsequently, M.Sc., Mathematics programs were introduced with the intake of 30 students during the academic year 2005-06.
- University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences – Bachelor of Pharmacy(B.Pharm) course is started in 2009 in UCPSc, PU. Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) course started in 2013 in UCPSc, PU with Pharmaceutics, Industrial Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Analysis with an intake of 15 students for each branch. M.Pharm course duration is 2 years with 4 semesters out of which the first and second semesters are academic and three and four semesters is an industrial projects. We aim to produce highly knowledgeable graduates for pursuing careers in academia and industry. The success of a large number of students in GPAT is a testimony to quality education in UCPS.
- University College of Education – The college was established in October 2013. The UCE offers M.Ed. (Master of Education), in Education. UCE has state of art infrastructures such as the Psychology Lab, Technology Lab, Computer Lab, Library, air-conditioned Conference Hall and Seminar Hall.
Palamuru University PG Centres
Palamuru University has three Post Graduate Centres. The list for the same is given below.
- Post-Graduate Centre, Gadwal – The PG Centre at Gadwal was established in the year 1993 under Osmania University, Hyderabad with 3-year MCA and M.Com courses. This centre also offers an M.A. English course. It is equipped with a spacious Library which provides books on Telugu Literature, Commerce and Computer Science.
- PG Centre, Wanaparthy – This PG Centre is under the control of Palamuru University since 2008. Previously, it was under the affiliation of Osmania University since 2002. It started with the introduction of M.Sc. Physics course. Then it started M.Sc. Botany, M.Sc. Zoology and M.A. English.
- PG Centre, Kollapur – PG Centre, Kollapur was established by Palamuru University, Mahabubnagar. This centre started its operations in the academic year 2014-15 with three departments MBA, M.Sc. Mathematics and M.A. English.
