About the Department

The Department of Accountancy & Business Statistics (ABST) founded in 1969, is a centre of education of Accounting, Business Statistics & Taxation throughout the State of Rajasthan. The Department is committed to keep pace with the changing requirements of commerce, trade and industry in India. The Department has organised All India Accounting Conferences and National seminars from time to time.

Infrastructural Facilities

The Department of ABST has its own well-equipped computer laboratory. The Department also maintains a library for S.F.S. courses.

1. The P.G. Diploma in Cost & Works Accountancy is recognized by the State Government as equivalent to ICWA .
2. The P.G. Diploma in Computer Accounting & Auditing has gained great popularity among the students as it is a job oriented course.
3. The P.G. Diploma a in Tax Practice is popular among tax practitioners, and advocates in view of the introduction of service tax and VAT.
4. An annual journal, “Accounting Studies” is published by the department.
5. The department has organised the XXXIV All I n d i a A c c o u n t i n g C o n f e r e n c e a n d International Seminar on 17 & 18 Dec., 2011.

About the Department

The Department started functioning in the year 1969 as a strong and pioneering centre for studies in Management and Business Administration.

Infrastructural Facilities

The Department has its own Seminar Hall five Professor’s rooms and a support system of computers, Photostat Machine, Internet, LCD and Overhead Projector, which are accessible both to teachers and students. The Department also has a well-maintained library having about four thousand books for post graduate (SFS) and M.Phil and Ph.D. Course Work students.

The Department started functioning in the year 1969 as a strong and pioneering centre for studies in E c o n o m i c A d m i n i s t r a t i o n a n d F i n a n c i a l Management.

Infrastructural Facilities

The Department has a support system of Computers, Photostat Machine, Internet, LCD Projector which are accessible both to the teachers and students. The Department also has a well- maintained library for post graduate students. Several academic journals of repute and newspapers are also being subscribed in the Department.
