Sikkim University

Sikkim University is a Central University established in 2007 by an Act of Parliament and is fully funded by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. At present, the University has 32 academic departments organized under 6 Schools of Studies. The Central University of Sikkim is located in and around Gangtok, Sikkim. Sikkim is one of the world’s richest bio-diversity hot spots and one of the twenty top tourist destinations. The University offers UG, PG, M.Phil. and PhD Programmes. The University has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
