|Website Reffered:||The internet is a vast resource. You can choose any websites you are comfortable and familiar with. I personally used the following:
|GD, PI Preparations:||I prepared for personal interview but not for GD’s. For personal interview I analyzed the company’s profile and then pondered over what kind of questions they can ask. I also took help from my seniors who are already placed in that specific company. I prepared for HR and technical interview separately.|
|Eligibility criteria and students appeared:||The eligibility criterion set was 65%. 20-25 students appeared for the written round.|
|The Written round:||In the interview I was mainly asked technical questions.
1. What is the difference between arrays and link list?
2. Which one is better and why?
3. Conditions for deadlocks?
4. Features of Windows 7?
5. How the operating system works internally?
6. Difference between windows and Linux?
Also there were HR questions like:
1. Tell us about yourself??
2. Tell us about your interests?
|The Interview:||This had technical questions again, mainly from coding and data structures. There was no HR round.|
|Role of Internships and extracurricular activities:||They didn’t ask about my intern but in most cases it really is very helpful.
Regarding extracurricular activities, sometimes they can be very very handful in interviews. In my case I wrote about my inclination towards environment so they asked me about what I had done about environment. So I told them about the Green Energy Competition which was held under E-summit 2010.They were really impressed.
