Assam Women’s University was established in the year 2014 and is located in Jorhat, Assam, India. It is the first state women’s university in the entire North Eastern Region of India which started functioning in September 2014. AWU offers Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Diploma Courses. AWU Admission Process
Admission to Assam Women’s University for a B.A. in Psychology, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, MBA, MTTM, MLIS, MA in Political Science and MA in Mass Communication is based on the performance in the entrance test. For other PG programs, the selection will be on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. Only female candidates are eligible for admission. The application forms are available online at the official website, awu.ac.in. Interested candidates must fill out the form and submit it along with the application fees in the prescribed format before the scheduled date. No applications shall be accepted thereafter under any circumstances.
