DU SOL Department of Distance & Continuing Education
The University of Delhi established the Department of Distance and Continuing Education (DDCE), Faculty of Open Learning, and Open Learning Development Centre (OLDC) under the aegis of the Campus of Open Learning/School of Open Learning, University of Delhi in 2022. The DDCE is a consortium of departments/fields of study, such as, Department of Commerce, Department of Economics, Department of Education, Department of English, Department of Environmental Science, Department of History, Department of Hindi, Department of Political Science, Department of Punjabi, Department of Sanskrit and Department of Urdu, Department of Business and Financial Studies, Department of Library and Information Science, Department of Computer Science and Department of Psychology.
DU SOL Admission Process
The candidates are selected for admission in UG courses based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. For PG courses, admission shall be based on merit/direct (50% of total intake) or also on an entrance examination (for the remaining 50% seats). The School of Open Learning releases the application form online on the official website and candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can submit the application form. Candidates are advised to submit the application form on or before the last date. No applications shall be accepted thereafter under any circumstances.
