Delhi University School of Open Learning
DU SOL was earlier known as The School of Correspondence Courses and Continuing Education. However, it is now known as Delhi University School of Open Learning. It was established in 1962. It is established under DU (University of Delhi). DU SOL offers admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate,diploma courses in its Arts/ Humanities and commerce programmes. In the session of 2006 – 07, around 2 lakh students enrolled themselves for various courses. DU SOL’s chairman is Dr. Balaram Pani.
The objective of DU SOL is to achieve complete automation and a paperless office implementing and automation process. DU SOL offers admissions through online and offline process. The students can download their Demand Letter cum Examination Form which contains details such as Name, SOL Roll Number, Enrolment Number, Marks obtained. The students can download study material and check other information regarding SOL admission from its official website i.e. sol.du.ac.in. In addition, SOL also provides with Audio-Visual conference facilities to the candidates to enable interaction with the faculty.
