GJUST Admission Process
The admission to GJUST shall be based on the merit list drawn based on the score in the Online Entrance Test conducted by Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES), Panchkula, where the entrance test is applicable, or based on the academic merit of the qualifying examination wherever entrance test is not applicable. The admissions to all B.Tech. programs shall be made through online counselling by the HSTES. The admission to all M.Tech. Programs will be made based on the merit of valid GATE scores of applicants. The application forms are made available online at the official website. Interested candidates are required to apply online on or before the last date along with prescribed application fees. After the due date, no applications shall be accepted under any circumstances.

- Department of Communication Management and Technology – The department offers M.Sc. Mass Communication course. The course is tailored to enable the students to work in Newspapers and Magazines, Radio, TV Channels and Production Houses, Advertising Agencies, and Public Relations units of private, public and Government departments, National NGOs and UN Bodies.
- Department of Physics – The department was established in 1996. The department offers a dynamic mixture of Pure and Applied Physics. In 2006, the department has started a novel programme of M.Tech. Optical Engineering.
- Department of Chemistry – The department offers a 2-year Master’s course in M.Sc. (Chemistry) and a Dual degree B.Sc. (Hons) Chemistry M.Sc. Chemistry.
- Department of Mathematics – The departments offer Master’s courses in M.Sc. (Mathematics). The Department offers an M.Sc. course at the postgraduate level and a PhD programme for doctoral research.
- Department of Data Science – It offers B.Sc. (Hons.) Computer (Data Science).

- Department of Bio and Nano Technology – The Department of Bio & Nano Technology offers three master’s courses as well as three PhD. Programs in Biotechnology, Microbiology and Nano Science & Technology.
- Department of Food Technology – The Department of Food Technology at GJUST, Hisar has been laying emphasis on quality education and training activities to meet the growing demand of food processing industries in addition to pioneering the development of innovative technologies for conservation and processing of raw foods with value addition.
- Department of Haryana School of Business – Haryana School of Business has its origin in the year 1994 with the Faculty of Management having a department of Business Management. The department of business management was a pioneer in starting a super-specialized programme like MBA (Finance), MBA (Marketing), and MBA (International Business) apart from the popular MBA with dual specialization.
- Department of Religious Studies – Guru Jambheshwar Ji Maharaj Institute of Religious Studies conducts research and comparative study of various religions Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, Christianity, Islam and Sikhism, and Indian Culture with special reference to the teachings of Guru Jambheshwar Ji Maharaj.
- Department of Printing Technology – The Department of Printing Technology is one of the premier departments in the field of Printing Technology in India. It was established in the year 1996.
- Department of Computer Science & Engineering – The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is a pioneering academic centre for education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering – The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is committed to imparting technical education in the most efficient manner to its students and it was established in the year 2001 and duly approved by AICTE.
- Department of Biomedical Engineering – GJUST is the pioneer in the northern region to launch B.Tech. the course which includes fundamentals of Life Science, Biomedical Instrumentation, Bio-Signal Conditioning, Medical Imaging & Devices, Computing Medical Signal processing etc.
- Department of Mechanical Engineering – The department offers B.Tech. and M.Tech. courses in Mechanical Engineering.
- Department of Electrical Engineering – The Department of Electrical Engineering was established in 2018. It offers B.Tech. courses.
- Department of Civil Engineering – The Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2018. The four-year B.Tech. programme in Civil Engineering assigned with the design, construction, plan, management and maintenance of the Civil Engineering system and natural environment building such as bridges roads, canals, dams and buildings.
- Department of Physiotherapy – The department offers four and half years of Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree course as well as two years of Master’s degree in Master of Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal Disorders), Master of Physiotherapy (Neurological Disorders), Master of Physiotherapy (Cardiothoracic & Pulmonary Disorders) and Bachelor of Physiotherapy.
