MGCGV Chitrakoot Admission Process
Admission in Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya is based on marks obtained in the Entrance Examination. The University will conduct the entrance examination for all the courses. Application forms for admission in MGCGV are made available online at the official website. Interested students are advised to fill and submit the application form and application fee on or before the last date.
Entrance Test/ Counseling for M.B.A., Information Technology/ Food Technology/ Civil and Rural Engineering will be conducted by Director of Technical Education, Government of MP. Students are advised to refer to online for details. In case of vacant seats, admissions will be done through college level counselling. For B.Tech. Agricultural Engineering, the admission will be done based on PAT and counselling at MGCGV.
MGCGV Chitrakoot Faculties
MGCGV has a total of following five faculties. The list of these faculties and their aims & objectives is mentioned below.
- Faculty of Arts – The aim and objective is to develop skilled human resource in the field of art, crafts & professional designing. To develop professionals for mass communication with emphasis on development and rural communication.
- Faculty of Agriculture – The aim and objective of this faculty is education and technology development for environmentally sustainable agriculture/ veterinary/forestry/animal husbandry models suited to farmers of rain-fed regions.
- Faculty of Rural Development & Business Management – The aim and objective is to develop management professionals for rural development. To develop professionals for management of cultural heritage, eco-tourism and promote culture as employment activity.
- Faculty of Science & Environment – The aim and objective is to develop professionals in various dimensions of modern science and environmental studies. To develop and promotion of environmental awareness especially in rural areas.
- Faculty of Engineering & Technology – The aim and objective is to develop professionals of various dimensions of Engineering and Technology. To develop rural database- generation compilation, storage and retrieval (information technology).
