Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University (SGBAU) was established on May 01, 1983 in Amravati, Maharashtra, India. The University has a lush green campus spread over 470 acres. It was formerly known as Amravati University. The main objective of its foundation is to cater the educational needs of rural population of western Vidarbha. SGBAU has 28 Teaching Departments, a conducted Model degree college at Buldana and nine Facilities for the students.The vision of the University is student centric.
