Diamond Harbour Women’s University (DHWU) is women university providing higher education in the state of West Bengal, India. It was established on 28th January 2013. it is the state’s first women’s university. The University was recognized under Section 2(f) of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956. Diamond Harbour Women’s University offers 4-semester PG courses in six subjects; Bengali, English, History, Political Science, Education and Women’s Studies. The admission to the PG courses is based on Merit and admission is conducted usually in the months of June and July each year. DHWU has two Faculties i.e. Arts and Science. Diamond Harbour Women’s University (DHWU) – Admission Process
Admission in Diamond Harbour Womens University is based on Merit. The University offers Post Graduate, P.hD & M.Phil courses in Arts and Science. The admission application form can be filled online with applicable fee. The admission to postgraduate courses is conducted usually in the months of June and July each year and admission to research courses is conducted usually in the months of May and June each year. The total number of seats may be altered in any given academic year without prior notification.
