Open Book Exam is held online. Candidates appearing for the online OBE have to register on the OBE portal. Guidelines for Open Book Exam
DU releases the guidelines for Open Book Exam (OBE) online from time to time on the official website, du.ac.in. Candidates appearing for the exam have to read the guidelines carefully before appearing for the exam. Students get to know the information about the OBE exam, admission ticket, uploading of the answer script. The schedule of examinations to be conducted in OBE mode for all the students shall be released online before the exam. The admit cards shall be available on the University Website before the commencement of the examination. The students shall download/print the same for further use. Students must ensure that the information printed on the admit card is correct. If there are any mistakes students must get them corrected through their college/Department.
Students should remain in contact with their College/Institute and visit the University & College/Institute website regularly. The duration of the examination shall be 04 hours. Out of which 03 hours shall be given to the students for answering the questions, and the remaining one hour shall be utilized for downloading the question papers, scanning the answer sheet in the PDF/JPEG format and uploading the scanned PDF/JPEG of answer sheets on the Portal. For the Divyaang (PwBD) Category students, the duration of the examination shall be 06 hours. Answer Sheets submitted other than the OBE Portal shall not be entertained under any circumstances.
