It was established on August 04, 1923, with 6 Affiliated colleges and 927 Students. It is one of the oldest universities in India and 2nd oldest in Maharashtra, after the University of Mumbai. It is named after Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj, a renowned spiritual leader, orator and musician from Vidarbha. Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) -Admission Process
Nagpur University releases the admission notification in the month of May or June. Students can directly apply for admission to the desired college of Nagpur University. It is necessary for the candidate to be present in person at the time of admission. Students are required to fill out the application form in a given period of time. After the last date of Application submission, a late fee will be charged. Nagpur University has both modes of Examination i.e. Annual and semester.
