Sido Kanhu Murmu University (SKMU) was founded on January 10, 1992, by an act of the Bihar Legislative Assembly. It is located in Dumka, Jharkhand, India. The University was granted recognition by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in 2007. SKM University offers various Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Vocational programmes. Presently, the University is offering courses in Humanities, Commerce, Science, Technology, Management, Engineering, and Law. It also offers self-financing courses in BCA, MCA, and Lib.
