Savitribai Phule Pune University is one of the premium universities of India established on Feb 10, 1949 under Poona University Act in the North-western part of Pune city. It is commonly known as ‘Pune University’. Pune University have 46 academic departments. It is popularly known as the ‘Oxford of the East’.
