SC/ST Candidates:
»SC/ST category candidates of MH State claiming the waiver of fees will be required to submit the information in prescribed format along with the desired documents.
»SC/ST category candidates of Other States are advised to collect/bring the Scholarship Application Pro-forma from their respective State / District Social Welfare Offices. This will facilitate the early forwarding of Scholarship Application Pro-forma to their respective states.
»Important documents required for applying to GOI scholarship: i) Parents annual income certificate ii) Caste certificate iii) 12th Mark sheet iv) Allotment letter.
Student’s Insurance Policy: Insurance is compulsory for all the students. Students are insured with United India Insurance Co. under their UNI-STUDY CARE POLICY. Every student is required to register under the insurance scheme. The insurance premium is valid for the full duration of program i.e. 4 years for B Tech and 5 years for B Arch.

Mode of Payment :
Payment of fees to be made in the form of DD drawn in favour of “Director, VNIT , Nagpur” payable preferably at SBI Suggested spelling: ski , VRCE branch (6702) Nagpur applicable for the seats allotted in VNIT Nagpur. Cash / Cheque will not be accepted.
Above fees includes the insurance premium of Rs 3159/- for B Tech / Rs 3842/- for B Arch program. The insurance premium is valid for the full duration of program i.e. 4 years for B Tech and 5 years for B Arch. Fees payment made to admission centre will be received to the institute is adjusted and the difference in indicated in above-mentioned amount. Above fees do not include hostel charges.

Note –
1) Above fees includes annual hostel rent, one time security/maintenance charges and mess advance (Rs 11000/-) for the 1st term (July).

Please note reporting to Counselling Centre does not mean institute reporting. Candidates, who have confirmed their seat allotment of VNIT Nagpur by reporting at CCB Suggested spelling: cab CC (anywhere in India), will be required to report for admission to the institute between 18th to 21st July 2011 or further dates as per CCB Suggested spelling: cab schedule in accordance with a round in which seat is allotted.

Admission Procedure for B Tech / B Arch programs
Admission to Indian nationals (on the sanctioned intake given above) are done through AIEEE qualified candidates under Home State and All India quota through centralized admission process by Central Counseling Board (CCB Suggested spelling: cab ) constituted by Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD Suggested spelling: had . Reservation of Seats is as per Govt. of India rules. Admission to Foreign Nationals / Children’s (studied abroad) of Indians working abroad is processed through Educational Consultant’s of India limited ( EDCIL ), A Govt of India Enterprise, Noida Suggested spelling: nokia 201 301 under the DASA scheme. Admission procedure to M Tech program
Admission to M Tech programs are done through GATE qualified candidates. Candidates (GATE qualified) selected under stipendiary seats quota are given GATE scholarship as per norms. Reservation of Seats is as per Govt. of India rules. In addition to above, up to 5 seats in each program (except Environmental Engg) are available for Sponsored candidates. For admission under Sponsored seats quota, the candidate must have post-degree two years full time experience in relevant field in which admission is being sought and sponsorship certificate from the organization in which he /she is working. Details of admission procedure and other are given in information brochure separately notified every year during the month of June.
