About CUTN
This University was established by Act of Parliament. This University was inaugurated on September 30, 2009, by Kapil Sibal. The first Vice-Chancellor of this university was the former director of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) and Professor in the Department of Mass Communication is Prof. B.P.Sanjay. Presently CUTN campus with an area of 740 acres. The main campus is spread over 500 acres in the two revenue villages of the Thiruvarur District.
